New Orleans is especially known for its musical activity, however it is considered the birthplace of Jazz and the birthplace of trumpeter Louis Armstrong and rapper Lil Wayne. Writers Tennesse Williams or Anne Rice were also born in its streets. The Mardi Gras is its best-known party, which is celebrated on Tuesday of Carnival, which fills its streets with color. Also known are its Jazz festival, Jazz Fest, and the Sugar Bowl, which keeps the city active constantly.
